Privacy notice
What we collect when you contact us, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed. Last updated July 2026.

What we collect
When you use the estimate request form, we receive the name, email address, telephone number, project address or town, type of work and description that you type into it, plus your confirmation that you agree to be contacted about the enquiry. Nothing on the form is collected that you have not typed.
If you telephone or email us instead, we hold whatever you tell us in that conversation for the same purpose.
Our web host keeps ordinary server logs, which typically include IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time of the request. These are technical records used for security and troubleshooting.
Advertising measurement
When paid search advertising is running, this site loads the Microsoft Advertising
Universal Event Tracking tag from bat.bing.com. It records that a visit or a
form submission happened so that advertising spend can be measured. It does not receive the
contents of your enquiry. Microsoft acts as its own controller for the data that tag
collects, and its own privacy statement governs it.
This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics of its own, and loads no other third-party script. If the advertising tag is not configured, no external request is made at all.
Why we hold it
To answer your enquiry, to arrange and carry out a site visit, to prepare a scope of work and an estimate, and to perform a contract if you go ahead. We also keep project records where we are required to for tax, warranty and legal reasons. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with data brokers, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.
Where we need a subcontractor or a supplier to do part of the work, they receive only what they need to do it — typically the address and the relevant part of the scope.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept while there is a realistic prospect of the project happening, and then deleted. Records relating to work we performed are kept for as long as tax, warranty and limitation-period obligations require. Server logs are retained on our host's ordinary schedule.
Your choices
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or ask us to stop contacting you. California residents have specific rights under state privacy law, including the right to know and the right to delete. Write to info@sillee.com or to the postal address above, and we will respond within the period the applicable law allows. We do not charge for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Children
This is a website for homeowners arranging construction work. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this notice changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes will not be applied retroactively to information we already hold.
